Romans 8:17-18 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs… if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. 18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

  • I consider – means to put together with one’s mind, to reason.

C. THE GROANING OF THE ___________________:

Romans 8:26 (ESV) 26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought,

  • Helps us in our WEAKNESS.

Romans 8:26 (ESV) 26 …For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

  • Intercedes for us in DEEP Places.

Romans 8:27 (ESV) 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

  • Aligns us With the ______________ of God.

PAUL’S CONCLUSION:

Romans 8:28 (ESV) 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together (into) for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
