Jesus’ sacrifice was Better than the Priests’ sacrifices…

Hebrews 5:1 ¹ Every high priest is selected from among men and is appointed to represent them in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins.

Hebrews 4:14 ¹⁴ Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.

Hebrews 6:20 ²⁰ Jesus, who went before us, has entered (The Holy of Holies) on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever...

Hebrews 7:24-25 ²⁴ because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.            ²⁵ Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. 

The Gift of Myrrh was Paving the Road for Jesus to become our Representative, a Permanent ______________   ______________________ before God forever!

Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds. ⁴⁰ Taking Jesus' body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs.
