                           The Belt of Truth   Ephesians 6:14           5-7-23

MEMORY VERSE:

Ephesians 6:13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground…

Ephesians 6:14-17 (ESV) ¹⁴ Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, ¹⁵ and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 

¹⁶ In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; ¹⁷ and take the helmet of salvation, and (take) the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Ephesians 6:14 (ESV) Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, 

John 14:6  Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life…”

John 17:15–17 ¹⁵ My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one… ¹⁷ Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

Psalm 119:160 (NKJV) The entirety of Your word is truth…

2 Corinthians 10:12 We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise. 

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (ESV) ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. ⁵ We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,

John 8:32 “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
