SIMPLE ACTS OF CHRIST-FOLLOWERS   (Acts 1-2)  1-1-23

Acts 1:15 In those days Peter stood up among the believers (a group numbering about a hundred and twenty).  

Simple Acts of a Christ-Follower:  

1. LOVE GOD (SUNDAY MORNINGS - “Experience GOD” together)

Acts 2:46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts (place of Worship). 

Hebrews 10:25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching. 

Matthew 22:37–39 ³⁷ Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  ³⁸ This is the first and greatest commandment. ³⁹ And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 

2. Love Others (COMMUNITY GROUPS - “Share LIFE” together)

Acts 2:46 They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts...

Acts 11:14 He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.

Acts 18:8 Crispus…and his entire household believed in the Lord…

Acts 2:44-45 All the believers were together and had everything in common. ⁴⁵ Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.

Matthew 22:40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

3. Change/Serve the World (SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES - “Meet NEEDS” together)

Acts 2:46-47 Every day they continued to meet together in the Temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with sincere hearts, ⁴⁷ praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. 

Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Acts 1:8  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
