THE WORLD INTO WHICH JESUS WAS BORN 10-23-22
- Alexander the Great was USED BY GOD!
(To Prepare the Way for the Gospel!)
- His GOAL, in his own words was “To Free the World”
- What he meant by that was to Make the World Greek!
- To bring Greek LANGUAGE, LITERATURE, MYTHOLOGY, ART, PHILOSOPHY.
- The Process was called HELLENIZATION.

28 The king of the North will return to his own country with great wealth, but his heart will be set against the holy covenant (God’s Covenant w/the Jews). He will take action against it and then return to his own country.
29 "At the appointed time he will invade the South again, but this time the outcome will be different from what it was before.
30 Ships of the western coastlands will oppose him, and he will lose heart. Then he will turn back and vent his fury against the holy covenant. He will return and show favor to those who forsake the holy covenant.
31 "His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.
32 By smooth words he will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will display strength and take action.

1.) BRING IT TO JESUS FIRST!
5 When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?”
6 He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do.
7 Philip answered him, “It would take more than half a year’s wages to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!”
8 Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up,
9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”
2.) TRUST JESUS TO DO WHAT HE SAID HE COULD DO!
11 Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.
12 When they had all had enough to eat…
13 they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.
