2 Sam. 5:6 6 The king and his men marched to Jerusalem to attack the Jebusites, who lived there. The Jebusites said to David, “You will not get in here; even the blind and the lame can ward you off.” They thought, “David cannot get in here…”

David LEARNS an Important LESSON:
- “IT’S ALL IN THE _________________!”
- “IT’S ALL IN THE _____________ PRINT!”
THE ARK OF THE COVENANT
- IT’S _________________________:

Exodus 25:12–14, 22 12 Cast four gold rings for it and fasten them to its four feet, with two rings on one side and two rings on the other. 13 Then make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. 14 Insert the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry it… 22 There, above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the covenant law, I will meet with you and give you all my commands for the Israelites.
- IT’S _________________________:
Numbers 4:5,15 5 When the camp moves, Aaron and his sons must enter the Tabernacle first to take down the inner curtain and cover the Ark of the Covenant with it. 15 They must not touch the sacred objects, or they will die.
- IT’S _________________________:
1 Chronicles 13:7–8 7 They moved the ark of God from Abinadab’s house on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding it. 8 David and all the Israelites were celebrating with all their might before God…
- IT’S _________________________:
2 Samuel 6:6-7 6 Uzzah reached out and took hold of the ark of God, because the oxen stumbled. 7 The Lord's anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck him down and he died there beside the ark of God.
FAIR OR UNFAIR?
Acts 5:1–2 Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2 With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.
- IT’S _________________________:
2 Samuel 6:8–10 8 Then David was angry because the Lord’s wrath had broken out against Uzzah... 9 David was afraid of the Lord that day and said, “How can the ark of the Lord ever come to me?” 10 He was not willing to take the ark of the Lord to be with him in the City of David. Instead, he took it aside to the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.
- IT’S REQUIRED _________________________:
1 Chron. 15:2, 13-15 2 Then David said, “No one but the Levites may carry the ark of God, because the Lord chose them to carry the ark of the Lord...” 13 Because you Levites did not carry the Ark the first time, the anger of the Lord our God burst out against us. We failed to ask God how to move it in the proper way…" 15 Then the Levites carried the Ark of God on their shoulders with its carrying poles, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.
