To All Ladies Here Today…

To young mothers, mature mothers, grandmothers, women who are not mothers, women who play the role of a mother, mothers who have experienced loss, and to those who have lost their mother; this is a message for all the special women in our lives.  

We love you very much!

• Genesis 17:15-16 - “God also said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you are no longer to call her Sarai; her name will be Sarah. ¹⁶I will bless her and will surely give you a son by her. I will bless her so that she will be the mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.”  

• Hebrews 11:11 - “And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise."

• 1 Samuel 1:26-28  - “I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the Lord. ²⁷ I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. ²⁸ So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.”

1. Jochebed – “The Woman of __________________________”

• Exodus 2:3  -  “But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile.

• Hebrews 11:23 - By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born ,because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.

• Ruth 1:8-9 - ⁸ Then Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, “Go back, each of you, to your mother’s home. May the Lord show you kindness, as you have shown kindness to your dead husbands and to me. ⁹ May the Lord grant that each of you will find rest in the home of another husband.”

• 2 Timothy 1:5 -  “I remember your genuine faith, for you share the faith that first filled your grandmother Lois and your mother, Eunice. And I know that same faith continues strong in you.”

• Luke 1:38 -   “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.”
