Mt. Mc Coy Simi Cross Hike email

We are excited to invite families to join us for a Mount McCoy Cross hike here in Simi. The trail is 1.3 miles to the top and leads to a cross that overlooks our beautiful valley. 

All families are welcome, but this event 

is specifically designed for our 

Preschool-6th grade families.  

Our goal at SCC is to create opportunities for families to get to know each other and spend time connecting.

When:  Sunday, September 7 at 4:00pm  (sun sets around 7:00pm)

Where: Mt. McCoy Cross (4 Washburn St.)

Bring:  Hat and sunscreen, jacket, water, snack, and closed-toe shoes.

• How to get there: Take Royal Avenue west of Madera Rd.  Take a right at the " T " intersection into Acapulco Avenue, and then an immediate Left onto Washburn.  The trailhead is located where Washburn Street curves and becomes Los Amigos Avenue

• Where to Park : Street parking is available at the corner of Washburn Street and Los Amigos Avenue

• Considerations: Be respectful of residents and avoid parking in front of houses or blocking driveways.

*This is roughly a 2 hour hike.
