Communication is essential in the church and communicating the right things to the right audience is at the center of what we want to accomplish with our church communications. Please email us if you have any announcement requests!

Our friends at the Samaritan Center are still in need of our help!

Here's how:

1. Someone will pick up all the necessary items for lunch from the Samaritan Center

2. On your doorstep, they will drop everything you need to make 30 lunches

3. You build the lunches

4. You drop them by 8 am to the Samaritan Center on your designated day. (If you are unable, or it just isn't wise for you during this time, feel free to reach out to us and another member of our church can help with this part!)

We have families who have stepped up so far, but we would love for our whole church to get involved!

Please reach out to Penny Templeton or if you have any questions

These members are part of our Pastoral Search Committee.  They are hard at work looking for our future Lead Pastor!  Please be praying for them specifically for unity, spiritual strength, wisdom and endurance.  Print this page and place it on your refrigerator or somewhere that you can see it often as a daily reminder to pray for this committee.

In early March a team of people from SCC built a house for a needy family in Mexico through YWAM's Homes for Hope program. YWAM has had thousands of teams building homes around the world for the past 30 years. In mid-March Homes of Hope shut down due to Covid-19; everything came to halt, but the YWAM missionaries stepped into action. They began boxing up food and supplies and delivering it to the needy, those who had already received homes and those who had not. The response was overwhelming as people felt seen and loved in a time where they were desperate.

We have an opportunity to join in their efforts to reach people with the gospel through meeting their basic needs. Please click the link below and then scroll down to watch the short video and prayerfully consider giving a donation. It only takes $30 to provide food for a family!
