Missionary of the month

Debora House of Refuge, Tijuana, Mexico, Converge Worldwide is a safe house for abused women and their children. It provides the gospel, shelter and vocational training. Below are a few ways you can be praying for them:

  • A change of leadership is coming in July as a new director steps forward. Please pray for this transition to go smoothly.
  • There is a large event happening on July 22nd with the current and former Debora House families. Pray for good attendance and that this would be a great encouragement to each of the families and the staff.
  • Pray for a citywide sporting event sponsored by Debora House on August 11th to raise awareness among the youth of the need to avoid drugs and violence.
  • Please pray for those working in this ministry, that we would be characterized by love and peace in order to heal wounds and draw people to Jesus.

congregational

care

Congregational Care is a wonderful ministry that walks alongside people during difficult times. It offers encouragement, support and helps people with their needs. They are looking for volunteers with all different skills. Please contact Marie Gray at mariegray@roadrunner.com or click the link below to fill out the form if you would be interested in volunteering for this impactful ministry.

TECATE MISSIONS

Please bring USED stamps (cut out with a 1/4" perimeter) and box tops to the church office or the Welcome Center booth. This will help raise funds for Tecate Missions. Tecate Missions International works to evangelize to the lost, train nationals, and plant churches.

Support our ministry

The death and resurrection of Jesus represent the most generous gift ever given – when the King of Glory gave up everything in order to reconcile us to God. Giving cheerfully, sacrificially, and consistently is a part of our worship. When we are generous with others, we remind one another of the great generosity of our God. If you would like to make a one-time gift or set up recurring automatic giving online please follow the link below. Thank you for your generosity and commitment to Simi Community Church.
