Missionary of the month

Chad and Fabiola Wolyn, Rebecca, Justice and Beniah

World Impact in Downtown LA.

These are some prayer requests from the Wolyns:

  • Pastoring and training up leaders through the church we planted: Fuente para las Naciones…a Spanish-speaking ministry in South LA.

Pray for strong leaders to be equipped and empowered and for an increasing footprint of impact in our neighborhood and beyond.

  • Coaching and teaching pastors and those interested in planting churches through the Evangel School of Church Planting and the Urban Church Assoc.
Pray for the Evangel in Spanish where Chad will be teaching, taking place this month with over 10 potential new church planting teams to be trained and released.
  • And we are currently working on transforming the house next door to our  church into a discipleship and ministry leadership home for returning citizens (those exiting the prison system).

Pray for key connections, grace, wisdom and finances as we move towards a launch of this home.

Congregational Care is a wonderful ministry that walks alongside people during difficult times. It offers encouragement, support and helps people with their needs. They are looking for volunteers with all different skills. TECATE MISSIONS

Please bring USED stamps (cut out with a 1/4" perimeter) and box tops to the church office or the Welcome Center booth. This will help raise funds for Tecate Missions. Tecate Missions International works to evangelize to the lost, train nationals, and plant churches.

Support our ministry

The death and resurrection of Jesus represent the most generous gift ever given – when the King of Glory gave up everything in order to reconcile us to God. Giving cheerfully, sacrificially, and consistently is a part of our worship. When we are generous with others, we remind one another of the great generosity of our God. If you would like to make a one-time gift or set up recurring automatic giving online please follow the link below. Thank you for your generosity and commitment to Simi Community Church.
